Why are there no human cages at the zoo?

I get annoyed when people say stuff like "we're the dominant species." No, we're just a megalomaniacal, bloodthirsty, self-centred bunch of evolved primates with the gift of a mind and the inability to use it properly. Your zoo cage sounds pretty epic. I'd volunteer too :D
