Somethings not right with my friends gall bladder removal?

My friend is 16 and was recently told that she needs a gall bladder removal surgury. She has had trouble with it for about 2 years now and was undiganoised. The doctors just told her to take a laxative and it never work. She wouldnt take anything else because the doctor didnt tell her to. Now they are making her wait a whole month before the surgury while shes siting at home in serve pain and not doing anything because the doctor told her that they couldnt get her in sooner.
