Valium and wisdom teeth?

im getting my wisdom teeth cut out in 3 weeks.. i go to my consultation febuary 24th.. will they give me valium then? i will be awake during the whole surgery and im getting all four of them cut out? I told them i had to have something in my system to relax me... what will they do??? enject needles in me????? please tell me all the steps! thanks
