Please help with this matter everyone...?

I'm 23 years old but I would like your advice...theres this girl I like, she is my friend, her boyfriend broke up with her 1 month ago and she felt really bad...he told her his feelings for her were not growing stronger and that he didn't trust her completely...but now he is texting her asking what sup, that he doesn't want everything to end for them...and she told me she will wait for him to show her his interest....i don't...shoud i let her go??i like her but i can tell she reallys likes him...is that what i should do?...
