Do you know any books that are in the given subject matter, or that are similar to the given book/movie?

Stephen King is awesome at horror, although his books aren't totally appropriate for 14 years olds...in this day and age, though, I guess it probably doesn't matter. I started reading Cujo when I was twelve, got terrified (I was an easily scared little child), and never finished reading it...but 'Salem's Lot is awesome. The Shining, Misery, Carrie, Christine, The Green Mile...yatta yatta.
