Should we not get rid of the route of crime, rather than continuing to punish the wrong-doer?

Is it not so that the majority of crimes are economically motivated? Capitalism creates a hierarchical system and thereby eliminating human solidarity. We are simply commodities. Nobody sees as human, but simply another drone. Poor people resort to crime in order to survive. Crimes of greed are a result of capitalist values. Killing people for money is another capitalist value, because of inequality and because of the existence of money. The only way to dramatically reduce crime is by destroying capitalism. Who is with me?
